Is this the best place to ask for help to overcome dramatic situations in which Trisquel is a leading actor.?

Other actors in these dramatic situations could be people like me.
This is why I encourage you to please read about me clicking on the link that starts on this thread and anchors in my profile in this forum.
I assume that you know much more about Trisquel than I do, so knowing more about me will help you to better understand the sort of dramas I was thinking about when I wrote the question in the Title.
Thank you in advance
Certainly Bubo. There is a lot of help here. I have participated for 10 years and been helped many times. I'm kind of like you in that I came to computing about the same time (around 2000). I did get some formal IT training in networking but lots of people on this forum run circles around me with their deeper knowledge of the OS and different applications. I'm at an age where I get duller rather than sharper as time goes by.
Your profile is interesting, I never imagined doing everything without using a hard drive for years. You have a niche of experience that might help others.
I have gotten use to a little drama but generally people seeking help aren't the ones that get targeted except maybe if they have a habit of ignoring steps outlined to solve their problem.
A good flame war in the troll hole can be quite a diversion :) They are rare though.
Thank you for your kind words Geshmy
I have discovered that the situation is worse than what I thought when I posted yesterday.
Trying to understand what was going on and because powering on my computer is now only allowsing me to access trisquel10 in the accesibility spanish mode I tried to make some research using the CLI and received through it a message that has frightened me because it is asking me to contact people that are not the developers of Trisquel and I would not like to be used by them to damage Triquel's factory if I follow their suggestion.
Edited to apoglogize for the "allowsing" typo. I meant "allowing".
Whoa... really? I haven't heard of desktop linux users getting hacked before.
No matter the bloat they have, never heard this before.
I have heard servers getting hacked though.
I am now curious how you got hacked. I mean if only accessibility spanish mode is accessible, that means you were hacked right?
Feel free to fill me in.
I am curious what actually happened
Being serious btw, I thought desktop linux rarely ever got hacked if at all. Never though I would hear it got hacked
So you have a situation, a dramatic situation growing worse.
You were trying to understand what was going on and received a message. Were messages what was going on? And your computer changed it's boot up behavior to Spanish Accessibility Mode only. Is that for blind people who speak Spanish? It seems you never post on the Spanish section of the forum so I assume that wouldn't work for you.
You were researching via CLI. Was it via local resources like using man and info or remote resources using lynx for instance? What commands and resources were you using for your research? Did the message that you then received appear in your terminal? Can you post the message?
If people who are not developers of Trisquel are using Trisquel to contact users of Trisquel with nefarious requests as in phishing et al, that would certainly be of intense interest. But more specific information might be helpful to understand. Also, is all this happening using only a Live CD? Have you tried a Trisquel 11 Live CD? And what is 'Triquel's factory' (I assume Trisquel's factory is what you meant)?
I hope your situation improves. I agree it's a good idea not to respond to unsolicited messages from the internet.
