Hi I am looking for a Java compiler to use for my class in college, and I was looking through the repos for one, but I couldn't seem to find one. Is there one in there that I can download or do I need to download it somewhere else or is there some other alternative I can use?

I believe what you're looking for is the openjdk-7-jdk package.
