Using MintUpdate in Trisquel ?

Hi, as I can see, "MintUpdate" is is a updates manager from a GNU/Linux distro and it is a free software (GPL I think). Why not to add that feature in Trisquel? this program is useful for newbies, featuring things like blocking non-tested, non-stable packages.

I'm also a user of Mint (v17.3) and I confirm that MintUpdate license is GNU GPL.

I also think that it may be a good idea.
