Hopefully the 'open source' packages that I installed that I'm convinced isn't fully free (such as Metasploit and Social Engineer Toolkit) didn't allow for my Bluetooth to finally work with Free Software.

i had the same experiance with my laptop and wifi
one day i just ran apt-get upgrade
and my wifi started working!
thats for whoever made this laptop's wifi work!:
