Error 1962: No operating system found
I just did a fresh install of Trisquel 12. It won't boot. I even tried changing between UEFI and BIOS boot methods. This is on a Lenovo ThinkCentre.
Also, I notice the text mode installer cannot install while offline.
I think more information might be helpful..
You turn it on and it does do POST ok?
What do you see?
Does a Trisquel Live DVD boot ok?
Is it canoeboot or libreboot?
Thanks for requesting more info. I don't know what kind of info to provide.
I've tried it with both a 500 GB disk and a 2 TB disk. Both installs won't boot.
I don't know what POST is.
Live USB boots OK.
It is not coreboot. It is stock firmware.
POST is what the PC does when it powers on. It's like the motherboard waking up to find out what all components are plugged into it.
If Live USB boots OK that's a good sign. It has to do POST before it can boot from the USB.
What all do you see on the screen when you power on? Do you get to a Grub screen? Does it look like it's going to boot Trisquel but just hangs.
Put it this way, It don't boot, OK, What does it do?
Followed the instructions here.

It now boots - on the 2 TB disk.
Great! Congrats.
