On Trisquel 12 (ecne), when I run 'sudo unattended-upgrade --debug', I get the output: Not running on this development release before 2029-05-09.
How to solve it? Thank you.

I don't know about unattended-upgrade script, but there are software for configuring upgrades. They are software-properties-qt or software-properties-gtk. This is the Trisquel way I think.

You need to setup unattended-upgrade they are not enabled by default. Actually, unless you set it up, no update check is enabled.
Under the policy to not make remote connections unless the user explicitly request it.

Eric's suggestion is a good place to take a look.

Thanks for the answers. I had made the setup before I opened the topic. From Tor: https://community.torproject.org/relay/setup/guard/debian-ubuntu/updates/
It works on Ubuntu and Debian. And if I remember (not sure), it worked on Trisquel 11. And yes, I changed the distro codename to 'noble' for TorProject.
