The version number is wrong because 4.5 wasn't on the drop down menu. I have installed 4.5 slaine and am unable to install vim. I get the following error message
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
vim : Depends: vim-common (= 2:7.2.330-1ubuntu3) but 2:7.2.330-1ubuntu4 is to be installed
Closing (sorry for the double post)
I've tried again in the current beta isos and vim installs properly. I'm closing this one.
ewlabonte: try "sudo apt-get remove vim vim-common; sudo apt-get install vim-common vim", maybe that helps. :]
quidam: if you want to create an issue (or feature etc.) you can only choose 4.0 and not higher from the drop down menu in project info so far, thats what he meant. ;)
What do you mean with "The version number is wrong because 4.5 wasn't on the drop down menu"?
Also, I had no problem installing vim.
